Daniela Isaza, DVM, Practice Limited to Diseases of the Animal Eye, joined VEI Plano in 2024.
Dr. Isaza graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology from Vanderbilt University. She earned a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Florida. She then completed a rotating medicine and surgery internship at Tufts Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Isaza completed an ophthalmology internship and residency at the Veterinary Medical Center of Long Island.
Dr. Isaza has contributed to veterinary publications, including the Veterinary Ophthalmology international journal.
Dr. Isaza has a special interest in corneal diseases, corneal surgeries, and corneal ulcers. Her favorite part of veterinary medicine is getting to know her patients and forming lasting relationships with their families. She values the opportunity to help owners understand their pet’s eye problems and how they can work together to give the pet the best possible visual outcome and quality of life.
In her free time, Dr. Daniela Isaza enjoys spending time with her husband, son, Dachshund Ernie, hound mix Penny, and cat Barry. She also loves baking, reading, and traveling.
