Christine K. Boss, DVM, MS, DACVO ®, Board-certified Veterinary Ophthalmologist, joined VEI Orlando in 2022.
Dr. Boss graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. She earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from St. George’s University School of Veterinary Medicine. She completed a small animal rotating internship and an ophthalmology internship at the Veterinary Medical Center of Long Island. Following that she completed a second ophthalmology internship at Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Boss completed a comparative ophthalmology residency and earned her Master of Science degree in Veterinary Science from the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine.
She has been published in several research publications, including Veterinary Ophthalmology.
Dr. Boss enjoys all aspects of veterinary ophthalmology but has a special interest in exotic animal ophthalmology, reconstructive corneal and eyelid surgery, and ocular manifestation of systemic diseases. Her favorite part of veterinary medicine is working with animal caregivers to diagnose and treat complex disease processes to improve patient quality of life.
In her free time, Dr. Christine K. Boss engages in creative pursuits, including photography, medical illustration, and ceramics. She also enjoys spending time outdoors and traveling.
