Allison Leigh Brown, DVM

Veterinary Ophthalmology Resident

Allison Leigh Brown, DVM, is a Veterinary Ophthalmology Resident at the Veterinary Eye Institute in Gainesville, proudly contributing to the team since 2024.

Dr. Brown earned her Bachelor of Science degrees in biology and health science, with a minor in anthropology and human sciences, from James Madison University. She then pursued her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree at Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine.

Dr. Brown further honed her expertise through a small animal rotating medicine and surgery internship at Blue Pearl Veterinary Hospital, a surgical internship at Carolina Veterinary Specialists, and an ophthalmology internship at Animal Eye Clinic.

With a deep passion for all facets of veterinary medicine, Dr. Brown has special interests in ophthalmology and surgery. She finds great joy in improving the lives of her patients and their families.
